Since 2018, Clear Street has been steadily expanding our suite of institutional tools and services to include clearing and custody, capital introduction, execution, and prime financing. Today, I’m excited to welcome a team of experienced investment bankers who will build an investment banking and advisory business at Clear Street.

Clear Street’s investment banking and advisory team will develop traditional and alternative capital markets services for emerging growth companies. They bring extensive capital markets transaction experience from JonesTrading, Bridgeway Capital Partners, and EF Hutton: 

• John D’Agostini - Co-Head of Investment Banking
• Nicholas Hemmerly - Co-Head of Investment Banking 
• Ryan J. Gerety - Managing Director
• Wes Heffernan - Executive Director

The investment banking business will further establish Clear Street as an emerging leader in the capital markets space and is another area where we’re excited to add value as a trusted partner. It will complement Clear Street’s already robust prime brokerage platform and be another white-glove touchpoint in the client lifecycle.

The announcement comes on the heels of the second tranche of Clear Street’s $435 million Series B capital raise, which values the Company at $2.0 billion. As we continue to grow Clear Street’s suite of services to meet our clients’ needs, we remain focused on our mission to become a single-source platform that serves a variety of investor types, across multiple asset classes, on a global scale.
